National Healthcare Decision Day
April 16 is a day to "inspire, educate and empower the public and providers about the importance of advance care planning."
"...National Healthcare Decision Day is an initiative to encourage patients to express their wishes regarding healthcare and for providers and facilities to respect those wishes, whatever they may be." [nhhd.org]
The April issue of the Caring Boomers Newsletter contains two articles addressing planning for the unexpected from the perspective of a health care professional (Preparing for the Unexpected on page. 2) and an elder law attorney (Boomer Legal on page 4).
If you would like an eNewsletter, please complete "Request Newsletter" located on the blog page.
