Albeit, Mother's Day is celebrated the second Sunday in May to honor
mothers; in my opinion, while wishing a stranger "Happy Mother's Day" is
well-intended, it may not be appropriate. The individual may have experienced a
loss in the family--their mother or a child, or caring for an ill mother.
To boomers with aging mothers--Happy Mother's Day.
